How can you really know what a job is like? One of the best ways of finding out is from someone already in post.
In Careers Focus we have got together a range of interviews from people working in archives today. They are based at London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) and the Corporation of London Records Office (CLRO), sometimes referred to as the Joint Archives Service (JAS).
The interviews cover the main areas of archive work offering a broader idea of what people actually do! You will see that an archive can only run successfully with a multi-talented team including administrators, engineers, educators and, of course, archivists.
