Emma: Acquisitions

'The LMA is famous for London-based family history, but we also acquire many other collections which contribute to the history of the Greater London area. These include records of associations, businesses, charities and hospitals to name just a few examples. The majority of my work consists of deciding whether collections offered to LMA are most suitably placed with us, or with another repository.'
